With a business plan, sketches of boot designs, and some mighty big dreams, Paul headed to Leon, Mexico - the boot-making capital of the Americas. His idea gathered steam and trusted partners and it wasn't long before Paul sold the first pairs out of the back of his SUV, at farmer’s markets, and even returned to his elementary school in Dallas for their Holiday Fair. In no time, a little house in East Austin became Tecovas HQ, and Paul and his small, but trailblazing team began to build the brand one step at a time.
